Fascinating

My Daughter linked me to a most fascinating work by photographer Jon Crispin.  I hope you enjoy taking a look when you have time.  Here are some of the things I have seen the past couple of days:

  1. That IS intriguing work. I didn't read much, but I was taken on a visual memory ride of being in my grandparent's attic looking through old boxes and baskets. I remember an old picnic-like basket that was full of sterling dressing table stuff - a monogrammed sterling brush, powder case with puff and powder intact, ring holders and trays and loads of other sterling things all monogrammed with my great grandmother's initials. They were treasures to me as a young teen.... and then there was the cedar closet, oh my!

  2. Your photos are calling to me to pack my bag! One day I'll get to Denver to see for myself.
Thanks to you and your daughter for the link to John Crispin's suitcase photos. Beautiful work. Interesting wrapping. Even more interesting contents!
    Have fun. xo

  3. Sounds like you are really getting around, Sus! Very moving link, as I scrolled down somehow I got an insight that these were things that belonged to people in an asylum, as it was called back then.
