Scene Recently, #18

With snow flurries in the weather forecast for later in the week, it may be the last time to see this kind of wild color locally.  Enjoy!

  1. Natures colours are always amazing and worth capturing in photos!

That reminds me of an old tale about a king (can't remember who) capturing a bird (can't remember which type) and putting it in a cage. Once the bird was in the cage it stopped singing and its feathers began to moult until the poor bird died. Too bad he didn't just take a picture!

    Eeeek snowflakes! Stay warm. xo

  2. Wow, Sus: COLOURS ! Store them in your heart, brain, dreams, works (whatever) so you have enough for snowy times ! Hope the snow will be a bit slow ...
(I think that was the tale of the old Cinese Emperor ...?)

  3. Quite a spectacle! All our beautiful low-to-the-earth leaves are now buried in two feet of snow. An "arrested" fall so to speak, these colors make me long for our autumn to return.
