Daily Drawing

Our Wearable Art Extravaganza is this weekend, with dress rehearsal this evening.  I am so excited to see what everyone has come up with, and to dance my creations.  My sketchbook this past week has been a place to work out last minute design details as I sit in my cozy chair in the evening.

Of course, most of what goes on in my daily drawings is pure stream of consciousness doodling.  There was some of that this week as well.

Lastly, I have been commissioned by a young fisherwoman friend to create her prom dress using Grunden's rain gear.  Here are my initial thoughts for that project, which is proceeding along in reality now, and has actually morphed into a different design.  (I will show you that project soon).

Enjoy your weekend, friends and readers!

  4. Wow, a prom dress made of rain gear! Ohhhhh I can't wait to see that. I'd love to meet the girl creative enough to wear it to her prom!

You sound very excited about tonight and this weekend! Here's to an absolutely fabulous time with no wardrobe malfunctions! Three chears to you Sus! Hurrah, Hurrah, Hurrah! (post LOTS of photos please!) xoxo
