As I mentioned last post, my art-making is curtailed to the sketchbook and the camera right now, but I have a plethora of projects steeping in my mind, ready to start in a new space in a new place next month. I feel a bit like this drawing which showed up a couple of nights ago:
"Free-fall" - pigma pen and prismacolor pencil in 5x7 Moleskine
I have a feeling though, that the gorgeous flower parachute will set her down safe and sound. Love your work these days. Her blue hair is something! Red and white striped element reminds me of the poles used to navigate boats in Venice. *hugs* Norma, x
ReplyDeletefascinating drawing - I see shelter but at the same time I see maybe uneasy feelings.
ReplyDeletethis red and white tape/bound and strange flowers... I like it a lot!

I love that drawing! Have you found your next nesting spot, then? And I guess the MMDJ is now history. I'm so glad for you. Sending love and hugs!
ReplyDeleteplethora is a beautiful word :) x
ReplyDeleteI see moving in your future.....
ReplyDeleteIt's interesting how light the feeling is at first glance but upon a closer look a touch of uneasiness.

Deletei love that photograph, the frosty walkway. wonderful!
ReplyDeletefun piece of art too, the colors and playfulness of lines and designs, makes me feel that the landing will be just fine.
I can see how your state of mind would be like the drawing... happy landing, Sus!
