Some of the bits were joined together with a zigzag stitch over fibers. |
Some stood on their own. |
Seed beads were added on each, sometimes in scatters... |
...and sometimes in lines. |
Sizes range from 3.5"x6"... |
to 5.75"x9". |
Happy Mother's Day tomorrow. I get to see my mother (and Dad) on Thursday when I go to Denver.
Hi, Sus--ah, yes, lovely series. The seed beads add interesting highlights. Happy Mother's Day!

Particularly like the one with the seed beads falling from the sky into the bucket - or lifting from the bucket to the sky? Anyway, intriguing little narrative moment in an otherwise more formal exploration.

These are lovely, Sus! Enjoy your time in Denver, hope it's being a glorious spring in Colorado! xo
ReplyDeleteWhat fun!
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful, Sus. The small size makes them even more special and loved. I hope you had a Happy Mother's Day today. The new grand baby delighted her Nana and Poppa and two aunties here this morning.
ReplyDeleteThese are gorgeous! I love everything about them.
